What is this page and how do I use it, you ask?
This page lists all of your blog posts in order (it's what visitors will see after clicking "View More" on your Blog Home page). It can also act as your main blog page if you prefer a simple blog page. If you want to set this page as your Blog main page instead of "Blog Home", you'll just want to change the link to "Blog" in your navigation menu and footer (and anywhere else you're linking to your blog). To do this, click on this page on the lefthand sidebar, and navigate to the Template Info tab on the right. Make sure Wordpress Template type is set to "Post List (Default)" and that no other templates are set to that type. After that, you can link to this page by setting any "Blog" links under Click Actions to Type > Page > Post List. Then Publish away to save changes!

Corner of living room with cozy armchair and throw blanket

Creating a relaxing night at home is one of my absolute favourite things. Snuggling up with a cozy blanket next to the crackling fire, lights dimmed, candles burning, a good book or movie on, and yummy snacks by my side… ahhh. In my opinion, that comforting feeling is what home is all about, and it’s […]

At the beginning of this year, I declared that 2022 would be my “year of fun.” Unfortunately, things did not go as I anticipated. Puppy training, months of sickness, and unfortunate long-lasting health issues brought the exact opposite. Such a bummer. Even though this year did not pan out as expected, it has still been […]

Furnishing a home is difficult for most people. In my experience, homeowners often spend years rearranging furniture — or purchasing new items one by one — in an effort to create the design they want. Few ever feel that their homes are finished or that they have achieved the look, feel, and function they were […]

Creating a cozy home is more than just adding a few fuzzy throw blankets here and there. Coziness is a feeling. Similar to a warm, comforting hug, or your favourite sweater on a crisp autumn morning, your home should embrace you, welcome you, and evoke pure delight. So what’s the secret to creating a cozy […]

From your kitchen to your bedroom, lighting plays an essential role in the design of your home. What is pre-luxury interior design? To answer that question, let’s first talk about what it isn’t. Pre-luxury design isn’t about creating homes that look or feel overly precious. Instead, it’s about finding that perfect balance of beautiful style, long-lasting quality, and livable functionality. Why am I telling you this? Because most people assume that you […]

Living Room with light sofa, colourful art above, and dark grey velvet chairs

Custom furniture is one of my favourite items to source for our clients’ homes. No matter which way you look at it, there are huge advantages when compared to retail showroom options. In fact, going custom is the reason my furniture survived this Sharpie marker fiasco! So, what’s the difference? And is custom furniture really […]
