For this whole-home renovation, we reimagined an outdated layout into a space designed for both everyday life and entertaining. This home needed more storage, improved flow, and a stronger connection between the kitchen and backyard to make hosting and family time effortless. Since the second story functioned as a separate unit, our focus was on reconfiguring the main floor for seamless, one-level living.
By changing the layout, adding custom cabinetry, and selecting all-new finishes—from flooring and trim to lighting, plumbing, and furniture—we gave this beloved older home a fresh, contemporary feel while preserving its original character. Thoughtful updates like transforming two former bedrooms into a spacious kitchen and repurposing the space of an unused basement staircase into a main-floor nursery, ensured that every inch of the home was both beautiful and functional. Now, every corner of this home is tailored to suit both day-to-day living and special gatherings with family and friends.
