With their son off to university, this Burlington couple was ready to give their home a long-overdue refresh. We reimagined their space from top to bottom—updating everything from finishes and fixtures to furniture and decor, and added custom cabinetry throughout to bring personality into the once builder-basic home.
A key transformation involved opening up the dining room, requiring collaboration with a structural engineer to remove load-bearing pillars. The vaulted living room ceiling was enhanced with wood beams for added architectural interest, while the fireplace was updated with natural stone to anchor the space beautifully.
The result? A polished, custom-feeling home that brings the whole family together, whether for everyday moments or visits home from university.
