Most people assume I love interior design because I love beautiful spaces.
And I do.
But the truth is — it’s never really been about the rooms.
It’s about the people who live in them. The conversations around the kitchen island. The quiet mornings with coffee in your favourite corner chair. The feeling of walking through your front door and exhaling without realizing you were holding your breath.
For me, design has always been about improving lives, not just making rooms pretty. A thoughtfully designed home reduces stress, supports your routines, and reflects who you are in this season of life. And over time, I realized the same is true for business.
The way we structure our work and the intention behind how we grow and evolve shape how we spend our days and how we’re able to show up for the people we love.
At Staci Edwards Design, I offer full-service interior design, decorating services, one-time interior design consultations, and business mentorship sessions for creative entrepreneurs — all rooted in the same philosophy.
This post is about what I do and why I do it. It’s about the beliefs that guide both my interior design studio and the coaching conversations I have with business owners. At its core, it’s simple — I believe in designing life on purpose, both at home and at work.
Whether I’m designing a home or mentoring a creative entrepreneur, the goal is the same: to create something thoughtful, sustainable, and deeply aligned with the life you actually want to live.
Design is simply the tool. People have always been my why.

Interior Design & Decorating Services That Feel as Good as They Look
Through my interior design studio serving Burlington, Oakville, the Greater Toronto Area, and beyond, I work with homeowners at many different stages of life, each needing something slightly different, yet all wanting the same thing: a home that feels more aligned.
When we begin, the conversation is rarely just about finishes or furnishings. It’s about how you want your home to feel and how you want it to support your life.
Some clients come to me at the beginning of a significant project, such as a renovation, a new build, or a whole-home transformation. In those seasons, full-service interior design allows us to think holistically. We consider how rooms connect. How mornings unfold. How evenings wind down. We manage the layers of detail so you don’t have to carry the weight of endless decisions.
The result isn’t just beautiful — it’s cohesive, intentional, and timeless.
Other clients are in a different chapter. The foundation of the home is right, but something feels incomplete. Decorating and refinement focus on layering furnishings, lighting, textiles, art, and editing what no longer serves. These projects bring clarity and cohesion to a space, so it finally feels finished.
And sometimes, what someone needs is simply direction. A focused, one-time interior design consultation to confirm a layout, select finishes, refine a colour palette, or move forward confidently on a project they are completing themselves.
I offer these three ways to work together because I believe design support should meet you wherever you are.
Not everyone is renovating.
Not everyone needs full-service.
Not everyone wants a long engagement.
But everyone deserves to feel happy in their home.
Whether we work together for a year or for a few focused hours, the intention remains the same — to create spaces that feel beautiful, supportive, and truly lived in.
Beautiful but not too precious.
Elevated but still comfortable and welcoming.
Thoughtful in detail and calm in execution.
Because the goal isn’t to create a house that photographs well. It’s to create a home that feels good and supports your lifestyle.
Business Coaching & Clarity Sessions for Creative Entrepreneurs
Over time, fellow business owners started reaching out, not about interiors, but about business. They were talented and driven, but overwhelmed. Unsure what to prioritize. Struggling to simplify their offers. Trying to balance creativity with sustainability.
And I understood that tension.
Building a successful design firm required more than aesthetic instinct. It required structure. Clear positioning. Thoughtful systems. Boundaries. Refinement. The same intentionality I bring to design projects had to exist within my business to keep it enjoyable and sustainable.
Eventually, I realized the philosophies were similar.
A home needs thoughtful planning and implementation.
A business needs clarity, focus, and strategic action.
Both require intentional decisions made in the right order.
My 90-minute clarity sessions are focused business coaching calls for creative entrepreneurs. They are intentional conversations designed to simplify what feels messy, refine what feels unclear, and create direction where there has been hesitation.
Adding mentorship was a natural extension of what I have always loved most: helping people build lives they genuinely enjoy.
Different setting. Same heart.
Designing Life on Purpose
The more I do this work, the more I see that the way we design our surroundings shapes the way we experience our lives.
A home that feels calm changes the tone of your evenings.
A business with clarity changes the way you move through your days.
Neither happens by accident. Both require intention and thoughtful planning.
For me, this work has never been about creating something impressive. It is about creating something supportive. Spaces you love coming home to. Work that feels sustainable and enjoyable. Decisions that feel considered rather than rushed.
Interior design services are one way I do that.
Clarity sessions for business owners are another.
Different expressions of the same belief — that thoughtful planning and implementation ultimately create what matters most.
If you are in a season of wanting things to feel more aligned, at home or at work, I would be honoured to support you in that process. Designing life on purpose is intentional and deeply personal. And that is the work I love.
