Interior Decorating Tips For Spring

It’s officially Spring, and I am so happy about it! Has it not felt like the longest winter ever? As the weather gets warmer, I like to transition my home decor to align with the season. In this post, I’m sharing some quick and easy interior decorating tips to update your home for Spring.

Flowers

Needless to say, flowers are one of my favourite ways to breathe fresh life into my home for Spring. You can treat yourself by supporting a small local florist and getting a beautiful arrangement, fresh flowers, or greenery delivered to your home. It’s nice to support locals, and even a small arrangement can add a lot of beauty to a room. Fiori Oakville is my favourite place to shop for flowers and the flower arrangement in the photo above is from them – Gorgeous, right? Click HERE to visit their website and see all the options they have for pick up and local delivery.

Accessories

I find Spring to be a great time to look around my home and edit what is no longer working for me. Swapping out accessories is an excellent way to give your home an updated look without a big commitment. Baskets, trays, photos, art and vases are all great options to update your home.

Throws & Pillows

Good interior decorating always has layers. Throw blankets, and decorative pillows are another thing that I swap out seasonally. Spring is a great time to pack away your fur and heavy knitted ones for linen and lighter-weight knits. Also, consider using light or bright colours to align with the season.

Scents

I have a candle in almost every room of my home and always swap them out as the season changes. A pleasing scent can help a house feel fresh, so find a candle that you like and light it to fill your home with your favourite Spring-like scent. THESE candles are lovely and great for every room.
