3 Tips For A Magazine-Worthy Bathroom

As you may know, my bathroom was featured in Style At Home Magazine (you can see it on our media page HERE), so this week I thought it would be fun to share a few of my tips for creating a magazine-worthy bathroom.

Incorporate Unique Details

Incorporating unique details like the cabriole style leg on the vanity and the painted brick wall allows this bathroom to stand out. You may not have the opportunity to have a brick wall, but consider a custom vanity, upgraded hardware, a beautiful vintage area rug, and a luxurious hand towel.

Make A Statement

Your lighting and faucets should really work together to add style and enhance the overall look of your bathroom, so why not use them to make a statement? I selected a stream-lined faucet and combined it with a more traditional looking sconces. Mixing the old and new looks works well in my 1865 home, and it allows them to both become a point of interest.

Add Art And Accessories

Pulling in art and accessories is the final step for creating a magazine-worthy bathroom. It not only finishes off the bathroom but also allows you to show your sense of style and personality. By layering in art, nice towels, and plants, it makes this bathroom feel well lived in and beautifully curated.
